OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

During the Sunshine Tea existing system study conducted, it was identify that most of the day to day works is been done manually due to the unavailability of a system. Therefore, the main objective is to computerize the activities to minimize the manual respective work. The other objectives are;

  • Implement a system for contract maintenance to monitor, Control and streamline contract related activities.
  • Have an inventory management system to monitor and control stock levels and have good visibility to inventory availability.
  • Improve the purchasing functions by linking the inventory and the purchase related activities.
  • Improve the production and material planning process by using advance planning schedule tools
  • Integrated the above areas with the financial system to get the financial statements accurately and promptly.

KingsLake has been implementing SyteLine in SriLankan organization since 1997 and currently has a large number of manufacturers running their manufacturing operation using SyteLine ERP. The Tea module, Quotation system, Pre shipment and post shipment modules documentations are some of them.

After observation of Sunshine existing system Kinslake decided to implement INFOR ERP system and customizes the system as per sunshine tea requirement by using the method of system development life cycle (SDLC).
